Rock climbing

Rock climbing is available with our local guide Josef Heidel. He provides all the equipment, inclusive of shoes and harness. A 3 hour stint at the rock face is generally more than enough for novices or intermediate clients and costs 40 euros.  Josef is sometimes assisted by his wife Anna-Mie who is also an experienced rock-climber.

Sessions in the Molini gym climbing wall can also be booked with Josef.

Josef will happily arrange longer periods of climbing for the more experienced.

There are several sites within 10km of our base in Molini di Triora which offer a wide variety of climbing routes. Most are bolted and graded for difficulty. Josef is also familiar with other locations, especially the cliffs above the famous harbour at Monaco less than an hour’s drive away.

Anyone caught cheating & hanging on to the rope has to buy the drinks at the café afterwards!
